The low down
Hi!
My name is Jordan Russell and I am a qualified Hypnobirthing Teacher. I have a diploma in Nursing, Midwifery & Medicine and in 2020 I decided to pursue what I thought was my dream - a Midwifery degree. However, I soon realised that it was not for me and that I wanted to go in the direction of Hypnobirthing to spend more time in giving not only emotional and physical support but also antenatal education to those having a baby!

FYI - I asked close friends for words to describe me: adventurous, kind, funny x 2 (yes, it came up twice, so it must be true) family orientated, trustworthy, caring, generous, thoughtful, courageous.

I have been interested in birth for as long as I can remember! I am VERY passionate about birth rights and making sure that people give birth the exact way they want to and have a wonderful birthing experience! Mental health is very important (now, more than ever) before AND after you have had a baby and it's so vital that we look after ourselves the best way we can.

What is Hypnobirthing?!
You are probably wondering what on earth Hypnobirthing is?!
Let me tell you first what it isn't.... STAGE HYPNOSIS! The name doesn't really do it justice to be honest.

Hypnobirthing is - a FULL antenatal birth prep course! You will learn everything from how the birth process works, birth partners role, pain relief to the 4th trimester. You will also gain the skills and knowledge to have the exact birth you want, leaving you feeling confident & calm. Lastly, you'll learn breathing and relaxation techniques to help before, during and after labour!

Some of you may have fears and anxiety surrounding pregnancy and birth BUT that's why we are here. Our aim is to reduce all of those worries & change your perspective. We will give you all of the tools and techniques for you to have a POWERFUL & POSITIVE birth and most important of all, a joyful experience.

The info you get on this course is based on science and facts only! There is no airy fairy stuff here! After completing this course you will feel CONFIDENT, empowered and uplifted and ready to be the boss of your birth!

What you can expect from me: snacks, laughter, knowing your birth rights (this will change your life), a whole load of passion, honesty & transparency from the get go, cheerleading (without the pom poms), power, no fluff, control (for you) and the reality of how AMAZING & powerful birth really is!!
